Feel'n Fine marked its last day as a Personal Training Facility Oct 29 with a 24 hr trainathon.
Money was raised for the Athritis Society, thanks to all those who contributed!
RETIRED GYM OWNER:
Cindy retired officially from Personal Training after a 15 yr career on Nov 7, 2010. Her good friend Nancy McAllister joined her and retired from her 15 yr career as an Accountant. Both are following thier newfound passion helping others with thier health thru Isagenix the World Leader in Nutritional Cleansing and Replenshing. It was a sad speech to give to my clients who have been with me for many years, I will miss everybody and I wish you all a heartfelt goodbye and good luck. I know its not really a goodbye as so many of them will be continuing on with me in my new business venture of network marketing. If Nancy and I can retire so can anybody else if they wish to join us!!!

24-HOUR TRAIN-A-THON FUNDRAISER / FEEL'N FINE CLOSING EVENT
Dear Sir/ Madam,
Feel’n Fine will be hosting a 24-hour Train-A-Thon, Friday, October 29th to Saturday, October 30th, from 12:00pm to 12:00pm. Everyone is welcome to drop in on our hourly scheduled events.
For this event we wish to support The Arthritis Society (www.arthritis.ca). The Arthritis Society is Canada’s leading organization providing support for people with arthritis and funding for arthritis research. Amongst our group, arthritis is the predominant condition. To mention along the lines of what Dr. Alan Bernstein, President of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), says, arthritis is a disease that affects a big portion of the population, particularly the elderly. Dr. Cyril Frank, Scientific Director of the Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis Institute states that, “arthritis is a huge problem and that it’s only going to get worse with the ‘greying’ population”. Dr. Frank also says that arthritis affects one in six people in Canada!
Feel’n Fines’ Trainers, Lene Kelly and Karina Joly, both affected by arthritis, set a goal to climb Kilimanjaro in February 2011. Their goal is to raise awareness and inspiration to others that may have physical limitations and who think that something they dream of doing is not attainable. We want to send the message: “YOU CAN!”
We are currently seeking financial sponsors to help us reach our goals in climbing Kilimanjaro and supporting The Arthritis Society. We hope we can count on your support. Any amount of contribution would be appreciated. With every donation, 50% of the amount will go towards The Arthritis Society and the other portion will assist us with our goal of climbing Kilimanjaro. A tax receipt will be issued. Our goal is to raise $15,000.00.
This will also signify the official closing of Feel’n Fine Personal Fitness as a fitness training facility Owner, Cindy Little, will continue to focus on others as their health and wellness coach.
We are looking forward to both challenges, in hopes of inspiring others and make them dream again; and, helping The Arthritis Society’s mission to search for the underlying causes and subsequent cures for arthritis, and to promote the best possible care and treatment for people with arthritis.
Upon our return, we plan to share our experience, photographs with our contributors. An article will feature in the Citizen in order to express our gratitude. Also, your business name and contact information will feature on www.feelnfine.ca for free advertisement, since Feel’n Fine will remain open as a Health and Wellness Facility.

IMPORTANT FEEL'N FINE UPDATE
Hi Everyone,
I hope you had a great summer!!!! My family and I had much appreciated time away together touring Upper New York State and Niagara Falls in an RV for the last week. We took the kids to Darien Lake Theme Park-exciting roller coasters! Beautiful weather and lots of fun RV'ing!
As many of you know, I went to San Diego for an Isagenix Convention/Celebration and I must say I fell in love with the Californian city. I stayed at the Marriott on the Marina and the view was outstanding. While there, our IsaDerby Team placed second out of 360 teams company wide, earning us an all inclusive trip to New York City at the end of Sept for a weekend with the Coovers, the Owners of Isagenix. If you get autoships or orders with Isagenix, you should see our team in the magazine!
Fortunately for me, it seems that my current success with Isagenix will only gain momentum and will thus require more of my attention. I have come to the realization that my passion is leaning more toward nutrition and the health side of wellness. So my aim is to concentrate my time and effort in continuing to do presentations and consultations for Isagenix and our growing team.
As most of you know, I have been in the fitness industry for 15yrs, and have been running Feel'n Fine from my home for almost 4yrs now. To be able to best focus on my future goals, Feel'n Fine will transition from personal training to nutrition, cleansing and business training. Therefore, the doors for inside training as well as for massage therapy will be closed as of Oct 29, 2010. The group classes: yoga, drop in, and core class, as well as the Feel'n Fine Fitness Challenge, will also run until that time.
Iron Discipline will continue to run outdoor kettlebell training and one-on-one kettlebell training, as arranged with Darren or Cindy.
For those who have pre-purchased personal training with the special rate prior to HST, the deadline has been extended from the end of June until Oct 29. This will ensure that we can book all your sessions with priority.
For those looking to get in fitness appraisals, monthly check-ups or revised programs, your last chance to do so will be between Sept 7 and Oct 29. The hours to schedule training are between 6 and 11AM for Cindy. Please contact Lene to schedule your appointments with her.
In closing, I would like to express what an absolute privilege and honor training it has been training all of you!!!! I will miss every one of you and would love to hear about your progress. I would be happy to offer advice and expertise in what home equipment would be best for you if that is something you are considering. I can also provide a friend's number who runs a successful home based gym here in Barrhaven and I will make sure that Karina's massage contact info will be added to my partners' page.

Summer hours
PERSONAL TRAINING
With summer coming, beautiful weather, people on vacation, kids out of school and a will to obey this restful time of year, I have decided to take the summer off of Personal Training. Ninety percent of my clientele will be away so this makes the decision to focus on my growing kids and my fast producing Isagenix business as well. Lene Kelly will be my substitute Trainer during the summer and will gladly help you with your fitness goals.
I will set everybody up with home/cottage programs for the 2 month period, if you choose not to continue throughout the summer.
The summer holiday will start Jun 28 till Sept 7 for those clients who have paid sessions and are coming back in Sept.
CORE CLASSES
Core Classes will continue throughout the summer on Mon and Wed PM, some classes are being held outside so if you want to join email lene.kelly@hotmail.com for current locations.
AM DROP IN CLASS
The AM Drop In class on Tues and Thurs AM from 5:45-6:45 will continue throughout the summer. As a matter of fact 2 girls from the AM drop in class are in the lead for points on our Feel’n Fine Fitness Challenge-Franca Moio and Pixy Bopari keep it up girls! June 30th is our 4 month goal date where we see who wins the jackpot and achieves their goals. Way to go for the participants who are still in the game and have been logging their diets and activity for the last 4 months. That is DETERMINATION!!! And oddly enough those who are sticking with it are look’n midey fine!
YOGA AND KETTLEBELL
Yoga and kettlebell will continue throughout the summer in Cresthaven Park. It feels absolutely wonderful being outside doing activities! We get Vit D, fresh air, birds chirping, a very nice calming affect form the increased endorphins and lymphatic drainage from both classes, and of course core, strength, cardio and flexibility benefits.

After receiving a few requests, Drop In hours will change starting next week, February 1st, 2010. This 15 minutes will allow many a little more “breathing” time and flexibility.

Preparation for the New HST
For those who have been active for the past 3 years at Feel’n Fine, we are certain you are grateful for the discount on Personal Training you have enjoyed. The rates have not had to change much fortunately. Unfortunately, due to the 8% increase in taxes, from 5% GST to 13% HST tax, training and massage fees will increase slightly. When Cindy worked alone she was paying the government the 5% gst and didn’t account for that to come off her trainers pay or even her own wage so that is why it may seem like a big jump in rates. You have been getting a deal since she started business 4yrs ago. It is regrettable that we have to pay more to stay healthy! Prices will go up everywhere and in most cases it is already is gouging the little guy.
To guarantee the best rate, the original rates for services will remain the same until March 1, 2010. Instead of changing the rates twice this year, since they were due to change anyway, a new rate will apply only once. However, to give you the best rate, Feel’n Fine will allow you to “stock up” on old rate prices in the month of February 2010. You can purchase up to 48 sessions of Personal Training. Expiry date of these sessions will be July 31, 2010.

1 session/wk x 4wks = 4 sessions/mth x 4 months = 16 sessions
Old Rate: $55.00 x 16 = $880.00
New Rate: $70.00 x 16 = $1,120.00
You save: $240.00
2 sessions/wk x 4wks = 8 sessions/mth x 4 months = 32 sessions
Old Rate: $50.00 x 32 = $1,600.00
New Rate: $65.00 x 32 = $2,080.00
You save: $480.00
3 sessions/wk x 4wks = 12 sessions/mth x 4 months = 48 sessions
Old Rate: $50.00 x 48 = $2,400.00
New Rate: $65.00 x 48 = $3,120.00

Yoga (new class times):

Unless you have told me you are committed to yoga for 2010-
you need to RSVP me ASAP to reserve your yoga spot!!! Spaces limited!
I will be combining Power and Yin Yoga on both Sat and Thurs and extending the class for an additional 25 mins from our previous class time. This is a heated room by fire place so it is nice and cosy!!!! The heat maximizes your flexibility and draws out toxins and calories even quicker!
Reviewing the yoga prices:
Drop in $15.00 (will only except drop ins if class is not full or if there is a cancellation)
Monthly fee of 8 classes=$80.00 or $10 class (minimum 3 month commitment-preauthorized checks welcome)
4 classes a month=$48.00 or $12 session
Due to lack of numbers for Kettlebell training for outdoor winter classes we will be putting them on hold for now till the spring. Indoor KB training still available.
Be the first to own our Kettlebell DVD and Yoga DVD to use when you can’t come to class! We are in the process of shooting our own DVD’s and we will let you know the price and the date of completion for purchase. Let us know in advance if you are interested. These are great to share as gifts to others as are our Gift Certificates!
