Lene

Hi my name is Lene Kelly. I came to Canada from Denmark in 1981 and married my husband Robert. After having two children I started to gain weight, eventually reaching 237 pounds and fitting into a size 24.

In 2003 after having been in my job for 4 yrs and feeling tired all the time, eating improperly and overall feeling lousy, decided to join a gym where I met a great Trainer. When I first joined the gym I was not able to use any cardio machines for more than 5 mins or able to lift more than 5 lbs of weight. I have gone from a size 24 to a size 12. I am able to walk for hours, bicycle, rollerblade and skate. I now eat properly and inspire my adult children, neighbors and friends to make healthy choices also. I now only require about 6-7 hrs of sleep, where as before exercising, I needed at least 10 hrs of sleep.

Through knowledge, training and determination I have almost reached my goal of size 10. My Trainer inspired me so much that at the age of 45, I decided to go back to school to take my certifications as a Personal Trainer. I look forward to helping others overcome obstacles, achieve their fitness dreams and help them feel great.

My strengths and passions are Core Training, Bosu Ball, Stability Ball, Circuit Training, Older Adults Training, Pre and Post Natal Training and Strength Training. I also enjoy working with beginners and imparting my passion for fitness to them.
